Awesome Toaster – Read This! Unfortunately this toaster has received some poor reviews and I thought I would buy this from a local store and write a review here on how I thought this toaster performs.

Raetsel says:

Have to Plug-in Backwards As has been mentioned, this toaster has a very short cord sticking out from the front of the toaster. I seriously have to plug it in backwards (with the toaster tab facing the wall) to use it. Every time I plug the thing in to use it, I grumble to myself that I’m going to go review this stupid thing… so here it is. how does this even get overlooked, & a product actually made this way?!

Amazon Customer says:

I used to trust the B&D name! I bought this little toaster only 2 weeks ago, and as soon as I opened the box, I knew there’d be problems — the crumb tray wouldn’t stay latched so every time I’d pick it up to wipe the counter, all the crumbs would fall out. While that certainly insured that the toaster was always cleaned out, I would assume that a latch should actually close. When I plugged it in, I realized that the too short cord comes out of the wrong end of the thing and the slots were so short, you can’t toast rye…
